Export
The Export feature allows you to download the current version of your open visualization. Before exporting, make sure the appropriate page setup is configured to ensure the optimal display in the exported file.
This feature is available for Views, Dashboards, Reports, and Workbooks.
When to use Export
- Sharing data: Share data or reports with others who do not have access to the platform.
- Analyzing and archiving: Export data for offline analysis, long-term storage, or record-keeping.
- Simplifying presentations: Export charts or dashboards as images (e.g., PNG or PDF) for easy inclusion in reports or presentations without recreating them manually.
- Integrating with other systems: Export data to integrate it into another system or workflow, such as sending it to a third-party service.
Export a view, dashboard, or report
- Locate the worksheet, chart, dashboard, or report you want to export.
- Double-click it or select Open from the context menu.
- Click the Sharing icon in the Toolbar panel on the right. It expands to show the submenu options.
- Select Export from the menu.
- In the dialog, select the format you want to export. Available formats vary by visualization type:
- Worksheet – PDF, Excel (.xlsx), Excel (.xls), CSV, XML
- Chart – PDF, Excel (.xlsx), PNG
- Dashboard – PDF, Excel (.xlsx), PNG
- Report – PDF, Excel (.xlsx), Excel (.xls)
- Click Confirm after choosing the format.
- A popup will appear indicating that your download is ready. Click Download to begin.
- The file is generated using the current page setup (if applied), and saved to your browser's default download folder.

As of Version 2023 Release 8 (July), HTML export is no longer supported.
Export a workbook
- Locate the workbook you want to export.
- Double-click it or select Open from the context menu.
- Click the Sharing icon in the Toolbar panel on the right. It expands to show the submenu options.
- Select Export from the menu.
- In the dialog, set the necessary properties to configure the export.
- Click the Export button.
- The file is generated using the current page setup (if applied), and saved to your browser's default download folder.
Properties for exporting a workbook
| Properties | Description |

| Output format | Choose the format for the workbook you want to export. Available formats include: Excel (.xlsx), PDF, CSV |
| Sheets to export | Select the sheets you want to include in the exported file. By default, all available sheets are selected. |
| File name | Specify the name of the exported file. By default, the file will be named after the Workbook. If CSV is selected, only the current sheet will be exported. |
| Password (optional) | Optionally set a password to protect the exported file. |
