Upload Project into Acumatica

Before setting up Nectari DataSync with Acumatica, you need to import and publish the SEI customization project in Acumatica.

This customization adds all OData inquiries needed for data extraction. These inquiries are required so DataSync can load and refresh data in SQL Server. The first time you run DataSync, the database will be created and populated with these inquiries. This process may take some time if you have a large volume of data.

Work with your Acumatica ERP consultant to ensure you do not accidentally unpublish or overwrite other existing customization projects.

View your Acumatica version

You need to know your Acumatica version to import the correct customization project. The version appear in the format Acumatica 20XX RX.

1. Log in to Acumatica.
2. In the upper right, click Tools.
3. Select About from the dropdown list.
   The version is displayed in the dialog box.

Upload to Acumatica

1. In Acumatica, select Customization from the menu. If you do not see it, click More Items to show additional options.
2. Under Profiles, click Customization Projects.
3. Click Import, then choose the import file named NECTARI followed by your Acumatica version. ZIP file path:
   Packages\Templates\Templates - Official\20XX Release X\Acumatica\Acumatica ERP Projects
4. Click Upload.
5. In the project list, check the box next to the SEI project and click Publish.
