Project Account Module

The Project Account Module in Sage Intacct lets you group and map accounts to project-specific categories. This setup enhances your ability to track financial data, report on costs and revenues by project, and ensure analytics reflect your organization’s project structure accurately.

Benefits of the account module

  • Improving project tracking: Link transactions to project-specific account groups makes it easier to monitor project profitability, costs, and revenues.

Map project accounts to groups

  1. In the navigation panel, select Data Models and Views.
  2. Expand Sage Intacct, then Projects and Configuration.
  3. Expand the Project Account Group Mapping and open the Project Account Group Mapping worksheet.
  4. Under the Group Code column, use the prompt icon in each cell to assign the respective account group for each project account category.
  5. In the Toolbar panel, select Save or Save As to save your changes.
