Import Template
Importing the Sage X3 HR France template provides your SEI environment with a complete set of standard reports, dashboards, and views. Before you begin, make sure you have your ERP database name, schema, and SEI custom schema ready.
Download the template ZIP file that matches your SEI version (TPL_20XX.0.X.XXX_SageX3HR_V9.zip). You can get the latest template from ShareFile.
Web browsers have updated their policy regarding cookies.
To embed SEI in your ERP website or enable Single Sign-On (SSO), apply the required cookie management changes on your web server.

Import the template
Run the template process
- If not already open, in the navigation panel, select the gear icon to open Administration.
- Expand Templates and select Import Template.
- Click Select files or drag the ZIP file into the window. ZIP file path:
Packages\Templates\Templates - Official\20XX Release X\Sage X3 HR\WebServer - In the Data Sources Mapping window, match each Received Data Sources Description with the corresponding Current Data Sources Description you previously set up.
- Ensure that only the desired data sources from the template are selected under Received Data Sources Description.
- In Current Data Sources Description, click Bind a Data Source and select your existing data source from the dropdown list.
- Click Next.
- On the Data Models screen, review the list that compares the template content with your environment.
On first-time imports, the first columns will show None and Never installed, and the Add box will be checked by default for all rows. - Uncheck the Add box for any objects you do not want to import. You can also choose Update or Skip as needed.
- Click Next to continue. The import may take several minutes depending on the number of objects.
- Select the environment(s) where the scripts should be executed. Each environment will appear as a column in the table.
- Enter the required parameter values for each column such as schema names.
- Click Next.
- When the import is complete, review the execution report:
- The report shows results for the ERP data source.
- Click the checkmark icon in each row to view script details.
- If all scripts succeed, close the window.
- If any script fails, click the error icon to open the report. You can copy, debug, and rerun the failed script.
- Users proficient in SQL can debug directly in the Report Preview window using the Try to rerun button.
Update a template
Updating the template is only required if you encounter issues with SEI data models or custom objects, or need to update template content. Software upgrades do not update the template automatically.
- After mapping data sources, select the checkboxes for the objects to upgrade you want to update, then click Next.
- By default, nothing in the Update column is selected.
- If a new data model or view is included, the Add option will be preselected.
- Select Skip to ignore or Update to overwrite existing objects. Updating will overwrite customizations.
- Select the environment where the scripts will run and click Next.
- Complete the parameters and click Next.
- In the execution report, click the error icon for any failed scripts to view and debug them.
- Copy and rerun the script as needed, or debug directly in the Report Preview window using Try to return.
