Set Data Model Parameters

Data Model Parameters serve as dynamic variables that guide the data model to load the most relevant data based on your input. To learn more about how Data Model Parameters work at runtime and what each dialog field means, see Data Model Parameters.

Set a Data Model Parameter​

  1. In the Data Models and Views tab from the navigation panel, right-click a data model and select Set Data Model Parameters from the context menu.
  2. Enter the desired values based on the listed parameters and the data you want to retrieve.
  3. Click Confirm to save your input.
  4. The values you enter will be applied automatically the next time a visualization using this Data Model is opened.
