Destination Connection
You must create a destination connection to specify where DataSync will store all extracted Sage 100 NA data. This connection points to your data warehouse—a central database where the template will load and organize data received from your source connections.
Create a destination connection
- Next to Destination Connections, click New.
- Choose the connection type.
- For scenario 1 – data warehouse, select SQL Server or Oracle, depending on where the SEI data warehouse is hosted.
- For scenario 3 – cloud, select SQL Azure.
- For scenario 1 – data warehouse, select SQL Server or Oracle, depending on where the SEI data warehouse is hosted.
- In the Connection Properties panel, enter
Data Warehouseas the Description. - Enter the Server and Database names.
- Enter the Username and Password.
- For scenario 3 – cloud, use the credentials provided to you.
- Click Save.
