Invoice History

The data model encompasses information on financial transactions, including taxable and non-taxable sales amounts, freight costs, sales tax collected, and costs of sales. It also includes inventory data such as quantities shipped, ordered, and backordered, along with unit prices, costs, and extension amounts. The model further captures the total invoice amounts for comprehensive transaction analysis. Two key views, "Historical Sales By Customer" and "Historical Sales By Item," enrich the model with customer-centric and product-specific sales insights.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)​

  • Taxable Sales Amount: The total amount of sales that are subject to tax.
  • Non Taxable Sales Amount: The total amount of sales that are not subject to tax.
  • Freight Amount: The cost associated with shipping the goods.
  • SalesTax Amount: The total amount of sales tax collected on the transactions.
  • Cost of Sales Amount: The total cost incurred to produce or acquire the goods sold.
  • Quantity Shipped: The total quantity of items shipped.
  • Quantity Ordered: The total quantity of items ordered.
  • Quantity Backordered: The total quantity of items that are ordered but not currently available for shipment.
  • Unit Price: The price of a single unit of the product.
  • Unit Cost: The cost of a single unit of the product.
  • Extension Amount: The total calculated amount by multiplying the quantity by the unit price.
  • Invoice Total: The total amount invoiced for the transaction, including all items and additional charges.
