Doughnut Design Properties

Properties specific to doughnuts are described below. For general configuration options, see Generic Views Properties, which apply to all view types.

To access these properties, first create or open a doughnut view. Then, from the Toolbar panel on the right, select Chart Properties and open the Design tab.

Titles

Properties

Option	Description
Text	Enter the main title text displayed above the doughnut chart.
Font	Select the font family used for the title.
Size	Set the font size of the title.
Style	Apply formatting to the title text, such as italic or bold.

Subtitle and detailed info

Option	Description
Text	Enter subtitle or descriptive text shown below the main title.
Show Drill-Down Info	Show or hide drill-down details beneath the subtitle.

Style

Thickness

Option	Description
Thickness	Set the width of the doughnut’s ring as a percentage of the full chart radius. Higher values create a thicker ring. Lower values create a thinner ring.

Total

Properties

Option	Description
Format	Choose how the total is displayed in the center using either abbreviated or numeric format.
Font Color	Select the color for the total value text.
Style	Apply formatting to the total text such as italic or bold.

Specific Title

Option	Description
Text	Enter a title to display above or below the total in the center.
Style	Apply formatting to this title such as italix or bold.
Font Color	Choose the color for the title text.
Position	Set the position of the specific title—Bottom or Top relative to the total value.

Legend

Properties

Option	Description
Position	Set the position of the legend: Bottom, Top, Left, or Right of the pie.
Size	Set the font size of the legend text.

Labels & ToolTips

Value

Option	Description
Format	Choose how values are displayed: Abbreviated, Numeric, or Percentage.
Decimal Places	Set how many decimal places to display.

Labels

Option	Description
Type	Choose what appears on each label: Value, Label, or Label and Value.
Font	Select the font family for label text.
Size	Set the font size of label text.
Position	Set the label position: Default, Center, Inside End, or Outside End.
Alignment	Choose the alignment style: Default, Circle, or Column.
Margins	Set spacing around labels for top, bottom, left, and right.
Orientation	Set the label text angle in degrees.
Distance	Set the space between the label and the slice it describes.
Auto Fit	Automatically resize or hide labels as needed to prevent overlap.

Tooltips

Option	Description
Type	Choose what appears in tooltips: Value, Label, or Label and Value.
Font	Select the font family used for tooltips.
Size	Set the font size of tooltip text.

Show Percentage of Total

Display the percentage of the total for each slice or data point in the tooltip. Set the number of decimal places to control how percentages are shown.
