Instant Filters
When you select a field in a view, the actions menu opens, giving you quick filtering options. These filters help you focus on a subset of data, making it easier to analyze only what matters.
When to use the actions menu
- Filtering data instantly: Narrow your dataset as you explore the view using quick filtering actions.
- Excluding irrelevant records: Remove values that do not apply to your current analysis.
Add to filter
Adds an equal condition to the Filters bar. Only records matching the selected value(s) are displayed. This uses the = operator.
- Select the value you want to filter on.
- Click Add to Filter. The filter is added to the Filters bar.
Filter by selection
Replaces the current filter with the selected value(s). Use this to quickly focus on a new data subset.
- Select a value in the view.
- Click Filter by Selection to apply the selection to all data.
The current filters are replaced.
Exclude from filters
Adds a not equal condition to the Filters bar. This excludes any records matching the selected value(s). This uses the <> operator.
- Select a value you want to exclude.
- Click Exclude from Filter. The matching records are removed from the view.
